Aimed at:

 

Tea Sommelier Level 2 Course is aimed at all those tea lovers and tea professionals who work within the HORECA sector (tea shops, cafés and baristas, restaurants, hotels, cooking schools, food bloggers, etc.) as well as anyone who has an interest in this ancient drink.

Are there any entry requirements?
In order to participate in this specialised tea course, you must have completed first the tea champion course as a  foundation.

Course goals:

 

Tea Sommelier Level 2 course expands and deepens the topics covered in the Level 1 course by analycing in detail the main tea producer countries: China, Taiwan, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya and other emerging producers.  

 

The students will be tasting of 80 different teas

 

Exam and assessment criteria: 

​

The exam consists of brewing teas, an oral test, and a written test. It usually takes between 2 and 2.5 hours to complete.

Upon completion of the Tea Sommelier course and the achievement of satisfactory results in the exam, participants will be awarded the qualification of UK Tea Academy: TEA SOMMELIER.
