LIVE WEBINARS - TEA CHAMPION

8 WEBINARS
TEA CHAMPION - Spanish
Dates: September 2023
Schedule: evenings
Location: www.ukteaacademy.co.uk ONLINE IN SPANISH
How it works
The 8 webinar modules cover all the theory elements of our Tea Champion course.
When life returns to normal we will be teaching practical single-day courses in our classrooms in Madrid, London and around the world.
The Sensory and Practical Day course will cover tasting, brewing, blending, etc.
Anyone wishing to obtain a Tea Champion (Level 1) certificate needs to take all 8 webinars plus, later, the Sensory and Practical Day course. We recommend taking all 8 but, should you wish to dip into some but not all of the webinars, we will be delighted to welcome you to individual webinars.
Then, you can join the Sensory and Practical Day course later in the year before then sitting the Tea Champion test and qualifying as a UK Tea Academy Tea Champion.
The live webinars are available to book as single modules but we do encourage you to follow the course right through from Module 1 to Module 8.
Who are they for?
The webinars are ideal for anyone who wishes to gain a deeper understanding of tea history, culture, the 6 different categories of tea, manufacturing methods, and current trends.
What do they cover?
The course delivers the theory of the Level 1 Tea Champion course in 8 modules as follows:
Module 1: a brief history of tea from China 5000 years ago to current trends; the tea plant
Module 2: seasonality, plucking, why all teas are different, processing terminology
Module 3: what makes a good cup of tea, loose tea or teabags, all about brewing, tea's ingredients and their health benefits (caffeine, L-Theanine, polyphenols, etc)
Module 4: black tea manufacture, five famous black teas

Those wishing to complete the training and earn a Tea Champion certificate may book a place on the new one-day Tea Sensory & Practical Course that covers all the practical aspects of tea (tasting, brewing, blending, etc). These one-day courses will become available in Madrid, Londres and around the world, as soon as we are able to return to classroom-based teaching.
Only those who have completed all of these 8 webinars will be eligible to book a place on the Tea Sensory and Practical Day.
